Let’s be honest: the thought of tattooing your face can feel… intense. And while the results are absolutely worth it, we won’t pretend it’s all sunshine and perfect brows from day one.
Here’s a real, low-drama look at what to expect after a brow tattoo at Ira Bale Brows.

Day 1–2: Bold, Fresh, a Little Shocking
Your brows will look darker and sharper than you expected. Totally normal. They’ll soften, promise.
You might feel like everyone is staring. They’re not. But even if they were? Good brows are worth noticing.
Day 3–5: The Flake Stage
This is when things get… a little weird. Your brows will start to flake and peel like a sunburn. Don’t pick them. Don’t stress. This part is short-lived.
Day 6–10: The “Did They Disappear?” Phase
Yep, they look way too light. It's part of the healing — pigment is settling under the skin. You didn’t lose them. They’re just chilling.
Week 3–4: They're Back (and Beautiful)
The colour settles, the shape softens, and you’ll start to see the final result. This is the part where most clients message us with “I’m obsessed” energy.
Week 6: Touch-Up Time
Tiny adjustments. More pigment if needed. This is when they go from great to perfect.
One artist, one vision. Ira does every brow tattoo herself — no surprises, just a carefully crafted healing plan from start to finish.
